2021 - Behind the Scenes

We tried our best to get the mask to look like Lorelei:

 

This past October, the four of us spent a two-hour car ride with Aunt Allyson (Lo’s sister) killing time by trying to master theme songs acapella-style from two shows we enjoyed this year: "Squid Game” and “The White Lotus.” It came down to those two shows for this year’s card inspiration and “Squid Game” won out, no pun intended. Even though “The White Lotus” didn’t make the Xmas-card cut, we had so much fun singing the theme song, we’re including the video of our very last take of it (out of about 50!), recorded right after we pulled into our driveway (official title sequence is below that for comparison):
